How can you help
As free and open source software, DMARCaroni is a digital commons. Making email more secure is important for everyone, and helping to protect the privacy of users is good for your karma. If you like the tool, why not help out?
Give us feedback
DMARCaroni is still a young tool. Let us know what you like or dislike about it, and help us improve the functionality.
Help with documentation
As we are working towards a stable 1.0 release, we are continuously updating and improving the code. As such, documentation is prone to lag behind.
If you spot a mistake, or have ideas for concrete improvements, we welcome your suggestions.
Contribute DMARC reports
DMARC is a standard that leaves some ambiguity for implementation differences, and there are quite a few implementations - with new ones being added all the time. The underlying standards DMARC, DKIM, SPF but also DANE/TLSA are also still evolving. That means that DMARCaroni can encounter significant diversity in input. We are always looking for good test data, in particular test data you allow us to add to our tests.
Help code
DMARCaroni is a free and open source effort, so you have access to the source code of the entire project. May the source with with you! If you are a software developer and find something you’d like to work differently: dig in. Certainly, there is plenty to work on: compared to the history of email DMARCaroni is still a young tool.
If you think your customisations would be useful to others, we’d love to hear from you!
Check out the source of the DMARCaroni server or DMARCaroni client, and send us a patch or make a pull request.
